Vivaldi is a great web browser(based on Chromium, I am a Firefox guy, but who cares?) with a great Mastodon server and forum to go along with it. However, how is their blogging software and how customizable is it?

My thoughts on customization so far is that:

• It is neutered WordPress(Very neutered, in terms of customization)
• You only get 3 themes(you can change certain aspects, like fonts and more, but that would still limit the themes compared to even Tumblr/WordPress.com.)
• You do not have an option to enable/disable certain plug-ins. You also cannot add additional plug-ins.
• The Vivaldi banner is always on your page.

I would recommend this if:

• You are a beginner at blogging and you do not care about this software being so restrictive.(No other use cases because there are other more advanced services.)
